Our next Meeting
The next Green Spaces Groups Forum
Wednesday 6 June from 2 pm at Williamson Park, Lancaster
Join the Friends of Williamson Park to learn about their work, share your own, and take a tour of the park. From 2-3, we will be in the Education Room, accessed through the shop next to the cafe. From 3-4, we will tour the park, returning to the cafe for refreshments before it closes at 5. This is one of our most active and successful Friends groups: we can learn a great deal from them.
Our most recent Green Spaces Groups Forum was held at Lancaster University's Green Lancaster/Edible Campus EcoHub on Saturday March 12. 15 students and staff joined 9 LGS group representatives to work on projects in the EcoHub, share our work, plan future collaborations. Students and staff made home-made soup and cakes for us. The students, who are about to get beehives, were treated to a lecture from Lune Valley Beekeepers Fred Ayres.
